Happy 2015!
Following on from my 2014 New Year’s resolution, my knowledge of Sanskrit is slowly building up.
Last Spring, I started a new advanced yoga class with a fantastic teacher who also introduces us to the Yoga Sutras of Pantañjali. As the Yoga Sutras were originally written in Sanskrit, this is further exciting learning material for a language geek like me. My wonderful friend Monica Albertinazzi Parkhurst, a fellow linguist and attendee of this yoga class, found a video that explains the basics of Sanskrit pronunciation. If you are a bit of a geeky linguist, an obsessive yogi, or if you’re simply curious, this is for you.

Yogi sick day.
So glad I stumbled upon this while sick in bed. This workshop is less than a half hour and so interesting. Thank Karine from Luiguistic Alchemy for the insight!
